It is a simple watch with a black and white interface, controlled by 4 buttons, 2 at either side of. It has plenty of features for an entry level watch but not as many as the huge swathe of premium features you get with the S62.
The S12 is a black and white golf gps watch that is not in color or a touchscreen but it is fast, responsive and reliable with an absolutely unbeatable battery life. The s40 is a mid level watch with a color touchscreen that was released in 2020 and has subsequently been upgraded by the s42, albeit at a higher price point, while being almost the exact same watch. Both watches are competitive in the space and will suit different types of golfers.

The S40 was released as an intial mid level premium golf watch in 2020 and the S12 is an upgrade of the very popular S10 entry level watch. They would probably help with this, but I’m not ready to spend that kind of money until the app gets a bit better tracking. It isn’t valuable with all the skewed data. I really wanted the help of this functionality to tell me how far that I’m hitting each club. I have several clubs like that now, but Garmin uses your last 10 rounds, so it will be on there for awhile. I hit the ball nowhere near the average 3 wood totals in the app. I updated that to my driver, but it still shows that drive as the average for my 3 wood. When I went in to look at the round, I noticed that I hit the 3 wood button.
For example, I accidentally put that I hit a 3 wood off the tee. However, I don’t feel you should need them to be able to get semi-accurate shot statistics. It may work better if all clubs had the CT 10 accessories. Garmin Golf Membership Terms and Conditions:
